The house was projected in 1997, with the objective of building a nice living space with a glasshouse for the many plants and flowers Erika loves and grows. The house had to be innovative but at the same time tied to the roots of the territory. The materials used are traditional: wood and stone combined with contemporary materials such as glass and steel and with modern technology, Energy Class A.

Tamion is a tiny village very close to Vigo di Fassa, on a cone between Costalunga Pass and Fassa Valley and occupies the largest spot of the valley. It is very sunny and pleasant in all seasons, at 1545 mt. above sea level. It is a protected area of great value, in the very heart of the Dolomites, Unesco Patrimony. It is a good place both for one’s eyes and heart, where it is easy to feel regenerated.
